Project Mars! Sonic Systems Ltd have been working with Glasgow University to provide an ultrasonic drilling method for use on Mars. Glasgow University incorporated an L500 Ultrasonic Process system. The blue can of the transducer assembly can be seen on the front of the vehicle.
